InnovED Pacific, through its flagship STEM AIE institution, the Cross Country School of Excellence, based in Kiunga, Western Province of Papua New Guinea, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the International Creativity & Innovation Award (ICIA) 2026 as a National Selection Partner for PNG to strengthen STEM education and innovation in PNG. This collaboration marks a new chapter in promoting creativity, technology, and scientific excellence among students across the nation.
Through this partnership, a national STEM platform — ICIA PNG — has been officially launched to promote and celebrate STEM students and educators who demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, and innovation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The initiative offers opportunities for primary, secondary, and tertiary students, as well as teacher training institutions, to participate in national and international STEM events. These events aim to showcase Papua New Guinea’s young innovators, connecting them to global platforms and networks.
The National STEM Event will run for five months, from November 2025 to March 2026, featuring innovative projects and competitions from schools across PNG. The program will culminate in April 2026, when Team PNG will travel to Cambodia to represent the country at the three-day International Creativity & Innovation Award (ICIA) event — joining participants from around the world.

Registration is FREE, and all schools across PNG are invited to register their interest in participating.
