OUR FOUNDING VISION

Cross Country STEM School of Excellence was established in 2015 in Kiunga, North Fly District of Western Province, PNG by Mr. Elias Wranga. Recognising the limitations of the conventional education system in PNG, he envisionsed a modern, skilled-based approach to learning that prepares students for real-world challenges.

The school is the first in Papua New Guinea to introduce STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education through Project-Based Learning ( PBL). This innovative model equips students with critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and entrepreneurial skills to thrive in the 21st century.
