WHY WE STARTED STEM AIE EDUCATION?
Ten years ago, I founded this school with a bold vision: to revolutionize education in Papua New Guinea by making it relevant to the real world. Driven by the belief that traditional methods were no longer sufficient, we introduced STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education, pioneering Project-Based Learning (PBL) to equip students with critical skills for the 21st century.
At Cross Country STEM School, we focus on nurturing creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation. Our unique dual grading system empowers students to progress based on their strengths, preparing them to become leaders, problem-solvers, and entrepreneurs.
Our mission is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #4—Quality Education.We engage the community in a holistic approach to learning, ensuring every child gains the knowledge, skills, and values needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
